You might might not be a nudist, but count yourself lucky if a friend is. In today’s mainstream society there seems to be a lack of trust and respect. When a friend tells you they are a nudist, understand it takes a lot of trust and courage to say so. Take their sign of trust as a complement to your character. And continue to respect them as a friend.
 

Trust and respect, in any relationship, is not a one way street. For the nudists that tell nudist friends, respect your friend’s opinion. Don’t take offense if they don’t want you nude around them, even if they seem okay with the concept. Some may be nudists too but never knew how to start a discussion. Others may be interested and want to try it themselves. Whatever the case, respect their wishes and their space. Good friends will not abuse your trust nor hold it against you.
 

In the end, adding nudity as an aspect of a friendship shouldn’t change anything. We were always nudists before. It shouldn’t matter if a friend wants to wear clothes or not. What matters is what is gained: a deeper trust between friends. Remember, how we demonstrate the values of nudity, is the basis for how others define it.
